For Youth

Babcock Presbyterian Church values the children and young adults of the community. We want to work together with parents to teach our youth the values and life lessons of Christianity, while also giving them a safe and wholesome place for activities outside of school.

If you're a parent looking for affordable before or after school child care services, check out the A+ Care page.

For Children

Child-Friendly Church Services

After the children’s sermon in the main sanctuary during Sunday services, our elementary aged children are invited to go to the Carpenter’s Workshop to learn Bible stories that help them know about God’s special love for them. Storytelling, special arts and crafts projects, snack time and just enjoying each other foster the growing awareness of being both a child of God and one of Christ’s brothers or sisters.

We provide excellent child care and nurture for infants and toddlers in our child-friendly nursery at both Sunday services. We also have a “Cry Room” overlooking our sanctuary (worship space) where parents can take their restless young children and which is equipped with rocking chairs, playpens, a changing table and toys; parents can worship and be with their children at the same time.

Kids Klub

KIDS KLUB, a ministry to preschool and elementary aged children and their parents, meets on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Games, arts and crafts, baking cookies and storytelling are featured at each gathering to provide time for children and adults to bond together in Christian Community. Having fun, relationship building and becoming aware of God’s blessings are the hallmarks of these gatherings.
